To ease pressure on telephone lines during peak times we would encourage our patients to make good use of our online services (Patient Access) to order prescriptions or to use the 24 hour answer phone service.

Repeat prescriptions may be issued for regular medications as arranged by your doctor.

Requests for the next issue of your repeat prescription can be made by: Telephoning our 24 hour answering machine on 0289020 4446.  

All prescriptions will be sent to a nominated Pharmacy, please let reception know your preferred pharmacy for these to go to.  

Please allow 72 hours (3 working days) from ordering your prescription before collecting it from your nominated pharmacy.

Please ensure you order your repeat prescriptions well in advance of running out of your medication to ensure treatment is continuous.

Regular reviews are essential if you are on medication, to ensure that it is working effectively and that you are not experiencing unwanted side effects.  If you have not been seen recently your GP may request that you make a review appointment before preparing your prescription.

If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.

If you would like to speak to someone at the GP surgery about your prescription you can book a call by calling queries on 028 90204445.

Take it to the pharmacy you got it from or bring it in to the surgery. Do not put it in your household bin or flush it down the toilet.
